TRAINING CANCELLED & GAMES POSTPONED
The Victorian government has announced a seven-day lockdown in a bid to curb the state’s growing coronavirus outbreak starting at midnight tonight.
In the press conference, Chief Health Officer, Brett Sutton advised that Victorians know what to do and encouraged us to cancel plans where possible and start lockdown measures ASAP even though not mandated until midnight.
St Christopher’s has made the decision to suspend domestic training until further notice. There will be no training tonight (Thursday 27 May 2021).
The KBA has advised that ALL Junior Domestic competitions this weekend will be postponed. There will be no competition on either Saturday or Sunday and no access to any of the venues.
The intention is to postpone these games until the following week (not cancel the games). This weeks’ fixture will be maintained for the weekend of 5/6 June 2021. A decision will be made in the future about how this will affect the end of the Winter season.
