UPDATE TO BASKETBALL VICTORIA RETURN TO SPORT GUIDELINES IMPACTING OUR TRAINING
Following the overnight update from the Victorian Government regarding the mandatory wearing of face masks while indoors, Basketball Victoria has updated their Return to Sport Guidelines.
What does this mean for our training?
- Approved face coverings must be worn by all patrons over the age of 12 years while inside the venues, except for players participating.
- Coaches and BSO’s in non-exertive roles must always wear a face mask unless a lawful exemption applies.
- Face masks must be worn in indoor public spaces apart from when eating or drinking. You must always carry a face mask with you when you leave home unless you have a lawful reason not to.
Please visit the Victorian Government Coronavirus website for further information on current restrictions.
Basketball Victoria’s Return to Sport status remains at COVID-Safe (formerly Green-100). Refer to their updated Return to Sport Guidelines (Version 8 / 4 February) for further information.
